Rolyn Expands Its Disaster Recovery, Restoration, Remediation, and Decontamination Services to All of North America and Canada Through an Acquisition by Interstate Restoration

July 02, 2020-Rockville, MD

Interstate Restoration, one of the largest independent emergency response, decontamination, restoration, and reconstruction service providers in North America, has acquired Rolyn, one of the largest privately-owned, full-service restoration companies in the United States. This acquisition expands Rolyn’s service to cover all North America and Canada.

"Rolyn is one of the most respected names in our industry, with good reason. They have an outstanding leadership team and a highly skilled workforce. We welcome Rolyn to Interstate,” said Interstate Restoration CEO Stacy Mazur. Mazur added: "We are so excited for Rolyn's senior leadership, including Sam Bergman, Mark Futrovsky, Vince Catania and Trent Darden to join Interstate and help us grow the combined organization."

"We share the same commitment to our clients and employees," said Sam Bergman, CEO of Rolyn. "By partnering in this way, our clients will benefit from the combined strengths, resources, and experience of two of the best companies in the world. This is a great fit, and provides outstanding growth opportunities for our employees, as well. I'm excited to roll up my sleeves and work alongside the Interstate team to continue to provide our clients top notch emergency services."

Interstate Restoration, together with FirstOnSite, which operates in Canada, are subsidiaries of FirstService Corporation (NASDAQ: FSV, TSX: FSV), and collectively represent the second-largest independent North American restoration and reconstruction services provider for commercial enterprises.

In a crisis, you need rapid response from a company with the skills and experience required to handle any type of disaster.

Make Sure You're Covered

Rolyn's PSA is a Priority Service Agreement that puts pricing, billing, and response logistics in place before services are needed. It allows you to make a decision about prices and capabilities before a disaster strikes, instead of in the chaotic midst of a disaster or emergency situation.
