As the Director of Safety at Rolyn, Robert Layman (Safety Bob), is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of safety programs and services, including environmental health and safety, safety & health training, and emergency management. Bob has over 19 years of frontline safety experience and a mastery of OSHA and other safety regulations. He ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations related to job safety. Bob is passionate in his beliefs that employees and workers deserve a safe work environment and that companies should provide financial resources, tools and equipment, and effective training for employees.
He had created safety and accident prevention programs for all of Rolyn's office locations. His communication skills and training style allow him to better assist our employees of understanding the importance of safety in the workplace. He works with HR to develop drug and alcohol policy and training programs for all offices. Under his direction, Rolyn’s Safety Program radically reduced workplace injuries and earned industry recognition.
In addition to Bob’s passion of safety, when its time to relax he heads out onto the water to boat and fish. Bob is also an avid baseball fan and even umpired in Little League & other programs such as AAU & USSSA for many years.
