Proactively or Reactivley Decontaminate against COVID-19

Except as specifically designated, Rolyn performs a biomass reduction using a chlorine dioxide suspension, before applying a ready to use thymol-based solution (both of which hold emergent virus claims approved by the EPA).

Rolyn is providing COVID-19 decontamination services using a variety of technological solutions.  Our national rapid response environmental team is specially trained and equipped to respond to an event immediately with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)/Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved/recommended technology. 

Except as specifically designated, Rolyn performs a biomass reduction using a chlorine dioxide suspension, before applying a ready to use thymol-based solution (both of which hold emergent virus claims approved by the EPA.  All Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which is mandated for use by the respective products’ Safety Data Sheet are implemented by trained personnel, and our teams use caution not to burden any unprotected staff or members of the public.  All work is completed in accordance with EPA labels and applicable regulations.

In each area Rolyn generally performs the following:

  • Establishes a controlled access work area
  • Ensures that all workers entering the work area were aware of hazards, are properly trained, utilized proper PPE, and followed proper sanitation practices such as no eating or drinking in the work area
  • Conducts a biomass reduction
  • Detailed cleaning of high touch surfaces
  • Application of decontamination technology
  • Final clean up

ROLYN’S TURNKEY GUIDE TO RETURN TO WORKING AT ONCE CLOSED FACILITIES 

  • Check with your state to determine when you can re-open your business and return to work
  • Check with your landlord to see:
    • If your building is open for business
    • What proactive and reactive decontamination steps your landlord is doing - both to the common areas and your particular space
    • If they are decontaminating, ask them to provide you with:
      • Name of decontamination company and that companies experience
      • Copies of EPA label(s) of technology/solution used
      • Copies of Safety Data Sheet(s) of technology/solution used

If nothing has been done, or you are not satisfied with the response, Rolyn is available to assist in a return to work plan anywhere in the contiguous United States, Hawaii, and Canada as follows:

  • In advance, Rolyn will provide you an overview of what will be done, and how the job will be billed
  • All work is performed in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration(OSHA), and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Guidance develop an environmental cleaning and disinfection plan
  • The plan for your space will include:
    • Use of technology with EPA-approved emerging viral pathogens claims, see List N: Disinfectants for Use Against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19)
    • Establishment of a controlled access work area
    • Ensuring that all workers entering the work area were aware of hazards, are properly trained
    • Utilizing proper PPE, and followed proper sanitation practices
    • Conducting a biomass reduction, if requested
    • Application of decontamination technology
    • Wipe down of high touch areas, including doorknobs, railings, elevator buttons, bathroom sinks, etc.
    • Decontaminate fleet vehicles, if requested
    • Final clean up
  • Upon completion, Rolyn will provide you (that you can share with your employees) with:
    • An Executive Summary describing and showing visually what was done
    • Copies of EPA label(s) of technology that was used to decontaminate
    • Copies of Safety Data Sheet(s) of technology that was used to decontaminate
  • Ongoing Decontamination Plan
  • Rolyn is available to discuss periodic ongoing decontamination plan as appropriate for the entire space, or just the high traffic areas
